Seller Commission Policy
This page sets out the commission charged by BuyChance International to sellers on each completed sale made through BuyChance . The rate depends on the specific category a product is assigned to, which is often a subcategory rather than the top-level category shown here for context — the top-level rate is not always what applies to a given product. GST is charged additively at 18% on top of the commission amount, not deducted from it. Commission is only charged after an order is delivered and its return/exchange window has closed. This policy should be read together with our Seller Policy.

Category-Specific Rate Exceptions
The following subcategories are charged at a rate different from their parent category:
- Fine Jewellery is charged 5%, differing from the Jewellery & Watches rate of 15%.
- Luxury Watches is charged 14.5%, differing from the Jewellery & Watches rate of 15%.
- Fashion Watches is charged 14.5%, differing from the Jewellery & Watches rate of 15%.
- Mobile Phones is charged 1.5%, differing from the Electronics rate of 6.5%.
- Refurbished Phones is charged 3.5%, differing from the Mobile Phones rate of 1.5%.
- Laptops is charged 3%, differing from the Electronics rate of 6.5%.
- Refurbished Laptops is charged 6.5%, differing from the Laptops rate of 3%.
- Tyres is charged 8.5%, differing from the Automotive Accessories rate of 10.5%.
Rate Changes
We may revise commission rates for any category from time to time. Sellers can view the rate applicable to their product's category in their seller dashboard prior to listing. Where a rate is revised, the new rate applies to sales completed after the effective date of the change.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of India. Courts at Dehradun, Uttarakhand shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with this policy.
